This machine features blazing 1969 inch per minute feedrates (X & Y axes) -
the fastest of any macine in it's class - with super finish ground hardened
solid box guide ways on all axes.
This machine employs a powerful 15 horsepower AC drive motor that drives
Kitamura's advanced design 2-speed geared dual contact head that provides
10,000 RPM (15,000 RPM optional) maximum spindle speed and up to 134 foot-
pounds of torque for real machining power.
Like all Kitamura's, the Mycenter-3Xi utilizes a fixed pot ATC system that
optimizes tool handling and minimizes non-productive idle time. With a 30 tool
magazine standard, you'll never have to fear a tool crash with Kitamura's
fixed pot design becuase tools are always returned to the position you
expected. The Mycenter-3Xi has 3-second chip-to-chip times for quick tool
changes to save you time!
The Mycenter-3Xi Machining Center features a state-of-the-art Kitamura-Fanuc
16iM control. Kitamura has packed this control with numerous high-performance
features a standard that other manufacturers offer as optional. Kitamura
understands that shop floor space is valuable so the machine's state-of-the-
art Kitamura-Fanuc 16iM Control folds flatly into the machine when it isn't
being used.
