The ChemInstruments SO-30 Shear Oven is a forced-ventilation oven with a
ramping controller for performing heat-fail temperature shear testing of hot
melt and pressure sensitive adhesives. It complies with the SAFT medthods
ASTM D4498
SPECIFICATIONS:
-Ramping Controller is Capable of Maintaining up to 15 Separate Settings.
-Temperature can go up from 250 Degrees C (200 Degrees C if the HT-30 is
installed inside).
-Accuracy is +/- .3% of output span.
-Temperature control and read-out is at the bottom of the unit for ease of
use.
-Adjustable leveling feet.
-Unit is large enough to accommodate the High Temperature 30 Bank Shear
Tester. (The clock box of the HT-30 fits on top of the oven.)
