1996 CEF Bright Dip Line and Water System
ALLAN BRADLEY PLC fully automated, cleans approx. 5,000 lbs./hr. brass and
3,600 lbs./hr. aluminum. The Bright Dip Line consists of an automated
loading/unloading station with infeed and exit conveyor lines, 2,000 lb.
overhead bridge crane supporting a rotating carriage, (10) each 660 gal. dip
tanks (7) stainless steel (3) PVC lined. Dip tanks use emersion heaters and
refrigerated chiller system for temperature control. Package includes
recirculation pumps, roots blower agitation system, 30 Hp fan ventilation
system w/wet scrubber package and a cascade rinse system. The Water Treatment
allows discharge of waste water direct to sewer. Includes a 2,000 gal. primary
waste tank, (2) ea. 1,000 gal. acid and alkali holding tanks, (2) ea. 1,000
gal. pH adjustment tanks, inclined plate settling tank, 500 gal. sludge
thickening tank, 750 gal. outfall tank, flocculent mixing tank, filter press,
alkali and acid pumping stations. Automated controls include metering pumps,
pH meters, turbidity meter, level controls, mixers etc.
