MACHINE FEATURES:
This Model RS-1020 saw is designed to cut up to 3 pieces of 1" diameter round stock per cutting stro
e, or more of a smaller diameter. It uses a 20 HP motor that rotates a 20" diameter abra
ive blade. The blade rotates at an approximate speed of 1670 RPM with an approximate SFPM of 8800.
The cutting stroke is powered by a hydraulic cylinder with a variable speed feed control.
The machine utilizes a servo positioned pusher mechanism to feed work stock into the sawline. It c
n handle material up to 144" long. Quantity varies with other diameters.
The Material Clamping System consists of (2) hydraulic clamping fixtures, (1) in front of the blade
nd (1) in back of the blade. These clamps are hydraulic and operate from the CNC control
station and can be operated independently or in tandem. The "V" block design and the design of the
lamping bar allow for "bundling". The machine incorporates cutting head oscillation, whic
allows for increased blade life, shorter cutting times, and better end finish.
The machine also has a re-circulating coolant system with paper media. This system has flow control
valves on either side of the blade and can be adjusted manually to peak finish and square
ess of the cut-off piece.
The CNC Control Station consist of a Touch Screen, oil/tight push buttons, E-Stop, and a main motor
oad meter.
